Al-IkhwanIbn Abi al-Dunya

31 — Ibn Idrīs informed me, on the authority of Abd al-Malik ibn Muhammad, on the authority of al-Awzā'ī, who said: Someone whom I trust narrated to me, saying: Sulaymān ibn Dāwud—peace be upon them both—said to his son, “My son, never consider a thousand friends too many, nor a single enemy too few.”
