226 — Abdullah narrated to us, from Alī ibn Abdullah, from Sufyān, who said: “Mujammi al-Taymī saw Sufyān al-Thawrī wearing a torn waist-wrapper, so he brought him four dirhams and said, ‘Buy a waist-wrapper with them.’”
٢٢٦ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: " رَأَى مُجَمِّعٌ التَّيْمِيُّ عَلَى سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ إِزَارًا مُتَخَرِّقًا فَجَاءَ بِأَرْبَعَةِ دَرَاهِمَ، فَقَالَ: اشْتَرِ بِهَا إِزَارًا "
