217 — Al-Husayn ibn ʿAbd al-Rahmān narrated to me, from Ahmad ibn Abī al-Hawārī, who said: Abū Sulaymān al-Dārānī said, “If the entire world were mine in a single morsel, and then a brother came to me, I would wish to place it in his mouth.”
٢١٧ - حَدَّثَنِي الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَوَارِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو سُلَيْمَانَ الدَّارَانِيُّ: «لَوْ أَنَّ الدُّنْيَا، كُلَّهَا لِي فِي لُقْمَةٌ ثُمَّ جَاءَنِي أَخٌ لَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ أَضَعَهَا فِي فِيهِ»
