212 — Humayd narrated to me: Khālid ibn Amr al-Qurashī narrated to us: Ishāq ibn Saīd al-Umawī narrated to us, from his father, who said: “Every Friday, Saīd ibn al-Ās would invite his neighbors and companions, prepare food for them, and provide them with clothing. When they were ready to depart, he would order gifts for them and have them sent to their homes.”
