194 — Al-Hasan ibn al-Sabbāh narrated to us: “I was informed that a man from the Umayyads said, ‘I wish that all my brothers would come to me and share in my livelihood, so that we might all live as one. I also wish that all my brothers would come to me with their needs. I would indeed be ashamed before Allah, Mighty and Majestic, to meet one of my brothers, pray that he be granted Paradise, and yet begrudge him worldly goods. This world is too paltry and contemptible for me to be told on the Day of Resurrection: “You were a liar. Had the world been in your hands, you would have begrudged it.”’”
