189 — Al-Abbās ibn Abd al-Azīm al-Anbarī narrated to me. He said: I heard Bishr ibn al-Hārith say, “As far as I know, it was related only from Yahyā ibn Yamān, who said: Sufyān said, ‘No one remains through whom the people of Kufa are protected except Ibn Sūqa. He possessed one hundred and twenty thousand and gave it all away.’”
