19 — Muhammad ibn al-‘Abbās ibn al-‘Abbās ibn Muhammad, Muhammad ibn al-Husayn, and others narrated to us from Dāwūd ibn al-Muhabbar: Mubārak ibn Fadāla narrated to us, from Thābit al-Bunānī, who said:
“While we were standing at Mount ‘Arafāt, we saw two young men wearing white cloaks with a short nap. One called to his companion, ‘O beloved!’ The other replied, ‘At your service, O lover!’ He asked, ‘Do you think that the One for whose sake we have loved one another and held one another dear will punish us tomorrow on the Day of Resurrection?’ Then we heard a caller whom ears could hear but eyes could not see, saying, ‘No, He will not do so.’”
