178 — Muhammad informed me, on the authority of Abū Nuaym al-Nakhaī, on the authority of Muāwiya ibn Hishām, on the authority of Sulaymān ibn Qarm, who said: “Muhammad ibn Alī would bestow gifts of five or six hundred, and as much as one thousand, and he never tired of sitting with his brothers.”
