177 — Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated to me: Zayd ibn al-Hubāb narrated to us, on the authority of Salmā, a freedwoman of Abū Jafar, who said: “His brothers would visit him and would not leave until we had served them fine food, clothed them in fine garments, and given them dirhams. I would ask him, ‘What are you doing?’ He would reply, ‘O Salmā, what more can one hope for in this world than friends and brothers?’”
