Al-IkhwanIbn Abi al-Dunya

17 — Through the same chain of transmission, Abū Salama narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahmān ibn Yazīd ibn Jābir, from al-Qāsim, from Abū Umāma, who said:

“Whoever loves for Allah’s sake, hates for Allah’s sake, gives for Allah’s sake, and withholds for Allah’s sake has perfected his faith.”
