16 — Abd al-Rahmān narrated to us: Abū al-Muhayyāh narrated to us, from Mansūr, from Talq ibn Habīb, from Anas ibn Mālik, who attributed it to the Prophet, saying:
“Whoever possesses three qualities will taste the sweetness of faith. Its sweetness lies in Allah and His Messenger being dearer to him than all else; in loving for Allah’s sake and hating for Allah’s sake; and in that, were a great fire kindled, he would rather fall into it than associate anything with Allah.”
