141 — Al-Hasan ibn al-Sabbāh narrated to me, saying: ʿAlī ibn al-Hasan ibn Shaqīq narrated to us, from Hakkām ibn Salm, who said: I heard Saʿīd ibn ʿAbd al-Rahmān al-Zubaydī say: “I admire every Quran reciter who is easygoing, cheerful, and quick to laugh. But as for one whom you greet with a cheerful face while he meets you with a scowl, holding his deeds over you—may Allah not multiply the likes of such people among mankind.”
