13 — Ishāq ibn Ismāʿīl narrated to us: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Ismāʿīl ibn Abī Khālid, from Qurrah al-ʿIjlī, from ʿAbd al-Rahmān ibn Sābit, who said: I was informed that, to the right of the Most Merciful—and both His hands are right hands—there will be people upon pulpits of light, clad in green garments. They will dazzle the eyes of those looking at them from below. They are neither prophets nor martyrs.

He was asked, “Who are they?” He replied, “People who loved one another out of reverence for Allah’s majesty at a time when Allah, Glorious and Exalted, was being disobeyed.”
