11 — Yaqūb ibn Ibrāhīm al-Abdī narrated to us, from Ismāīl ibn Ibrāhīm. Al-Musharrif ibn Abān also narrated to me: Ishāq ibn Īsā, the grandson of Dāwūd ibn Abī Hind through his daughter, narrated to us—the wording is al-Musharrif’s—from Muhammad ibn Abī Humayd, from Mūsā ibn Wardān, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:
“In Paradise there is a pillar of gold upon which are cities of emerald, shining for the people of Paradise as the radiant star shines in the expanse of the sky.”
We asked, “O Messenger of Allah, for whom is this?” He replied, “For those who love one another for Allah’s sake, Glorious and Exalted.”
