110 — Nasr ibn Alī al-Jahdamī narrated to us: Amr ibn Hamza narrated to us: al-Mundhir ibn Thalaba narrated to us, from Abū al-Alā ibn al-Shikhkhīr, from al-Barā, who said: I met the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he shook my hand. I said, “O Messenger of Allah, I had thought this was one of the customs of the non-Arabs.” He replied, “We have a greater claim to handshaking than they do. No two Muslims meet and shake hands without their sins falling away from between them.”
