74 – Al-Ḥusayn narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Ahmad ibn Bujayr told me; Bahlul al-Kindi told me, from Abu Isḥaq, who said: “I was with my father on a Friday when he said to me, ‘Shall I not show you ʿAli, the Commander of the Believers?’ I replied, ‘Yes indeed.’ So he lifted me up, and I saw him on the pulpit—bald, with a prominent belly.”
