56 – Al-Ḥusayn narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd Allah ibn Yunus ibn Bukayr informed me; he said: my father informed me; he said: Abu ʿAbd Allah al-Juʿfi related to me, from Jabir, from Abu al-Tufayl, Zayd ibn Wahb, Muhammad ibn ʿAli, and others, that ʿAli was struck after eighteen nights of Ramadan had elapsed and died on the first night of the last ten nights of that month.
