4- He went on: Ibn Abī al-Dunyā informed us; Khalaf ibn Sālim informed us; Muḥammad ibn Bishr narrated from Abū Mīkīn, who said:

“I was walking with my uncle, Abū Umayyah, past a house in the quarter of the Murād tribe. He asked me, ‘Do you see this house?’ I replied, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘ʿAlī once passed by when it was still under construction. A piece of masonry fell on him and gashed his head, so he prayed to Allah that its building would never be completed.’

Abū Mīkīn added, ‘Not a single brick has been laid on it since then, and whenever you pass by, it looks nothing like the other houses.’
