37 – Al-Ḥusayn narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Khalf ibn Sālim narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Razzāq said: Maʿmar informed us, from Ayyūb, from Ibn Sīrīn, from ʿUbayda, who said: Whenever ʿAlī saw Ibn Muljam he would say:

“I wish him well, yet he wishes to kill me—
woe to you for a companion from the tribe of Murād!”
