35 – Al-Ḥusayn narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Yūsuf ibn Mūsā narrated to us; al-Ḍaḥḥāk ibn Makhlad narrated to us, from Sufyān, from ʿImrān ibn Ẓubyān, from Ḥakīm ibn Saʿd, who said: They said to ʿAli, “If we were to know your killer, should we treat his household kindly?” He replied, “Bih, bih! That would be sheer injustice. Rather, kill him, then burn him.”
