107 – Al-Ḥusayn narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Yūsuf ibn Mūsā narrated to us; ʿAmr ibn Ṭalḥa al-Qannād narrated to us; Asbāṭ ibn Naṣr, from Simāk, from Ḥijār ibn Abjar, who said:

A man once came to Muʿāwiya and said, “This cloak of mine was stolen, and I have now found it with this man.” Muʿāwiya replied, “If only ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib were here to decide this matter.”
