Chapter on Making Up Missed Prayers

Whoever has allowed a compulsory prayer to lapse must perform it as soon as he remembers, giving it priority over the prayer whose time has just begun—unless he fears that the time for the present prayer will run out, in which case he should first perform the current prayer and then make up the missed one.

If he has missed several prayers, he should make them up in the same order in which they originally became due, unless the number of missed prayers exceeds six; in that case, observing the original sequence is no longer required.
