Tenth Aspect
He should keep in view Allah’s nearness to him when he perseveres, along with Allah’s love for him1 and His pleasure. Whoever enjoys Allah’s company will find that Allah deflects from him kinds of harm and adversity that no created being could remove. Allah the Exalted said, “And be patient2; indeed, Allah is with those who are patient”3; and He said, “And Allah loves those who are patient”4.

العاشر: أن يشهد معية الله معه إذا صبر، ومحبة الله له١ ورضاه، ومن كان الله معه دفع عنه من أنواع الأذى والمضرات ما لا يدفع عنه أحد من خلقه، قال الله تعالى: ﴿وَاصْبِرُوا٢ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ﴾ ٣ وقال: ﴿وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ﴾ ٤.
