[THE WITR PRAYER]

127—The witr prayer is an emphatically recommended sunnah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) consistently performed it both while resident and while traveling, and urged people to perform it.

128—Its minimum is one prayer unit,

[صَلاةُ الوِتْرِ] . ١٢٧- وصلاة اَلْوَتْرِ سُنَّةٌ مُؤَكَّدَةٌ، دَاوَمَ اَلنَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَيْهِ حَضَرًا وَسَفَرًا، وَحَثَّ اَلنَّاسَ عَلَيْهِ. ١٢٨- وَأَقَلُّهُ: رَكْعَةٌ،
