The Introduction
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
From Him we seek help
All praise is due to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help and forgiveness, and repent to Him. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils within ourselves and from our evil deeds. Whoever Allah guides, none can lead astray; and whoever He leaves astray, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. May Allah bless him and grant him abundant peace.

I found what I sought in this book: The Wayfarers’ Path and an Exposition of Jurisprudence in the Religion, by the eminent scholar Abd al-Rahmān ibn Nāsir al-Sa'dī, d. 1376 AH—may Allah have mercy upon him
