117—The confirmed regular Sunnah prayers associated with the obligatory prayers comprise ten units:
(These are the ones mentioned in the hadith of Ibn Umar—may Allah be pleased with them both1—who said: “I memorized ten units of prayer from the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace:
two before the noon prayer and two after it;
two after the sunset prayer in his home;
two after the night prayer in his home;
and two before the dawn prayer2.” Agreed upon3.)

١١٧- واَلرَّوَاتِبُ المؤَكَّدة اَلتَّابِعَةُ لِلْمَكْتُوبَاتِ عَشَرٌ:
(وَهِيَ اَلْمَذْكُورَةُ فِي حَدِيثِ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ ﵄ ١، قَالَ: حَفِظْتُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ ﷺ عَشْرَ رَكَعَاتٍ:
رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ اَلظُّهْرِ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا،
وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ اَلْمَغْرِبِ فِي بَيْتِهِ،
وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ اَلْعِشَاءِ فِي بَيْتِهِ،
وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الفجر٢ متفق عليه٣.
