1—when pronouncing the opening takbīr;
2—when bowing;
3—when rising from bowing; and
4—when standing after the first tashahhud, as is established in authentic hadiths from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)1.
77—He places his right hand over his left,
78—above his navel, below it, or upon his chest.
79—He says, “Glory and praise be to You, O Allah. Blessed is Your name, exalted is Your majesty, and there is no deity but You”2—or another of the opening supplications transmitted from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)3.
80—He then seeks refuge in Allah.
81—He says, “In the name of Allah.”
82—He recites al-Fātihah.
83—Along with it, in the first two units of four- and three-unit prayers, he recites

١- عند تكبيرة الإحرام،
٢- وعند الركوع،
٣- وعند الرفع منه،
٤- وعند القيام من التشهد الأول، كما صحت بذلك الأحاديث عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم١.
٧٧- وَيَضَعُ يَدَهُ اَلْيُمْنَى عَلَى اَلْيُسْرَى،
٧٨- فَوْقَ سُرَّتِهِ، أو تحتها، أو على صدره.
٧٩- وَيَقُولُ: "سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ، وَتَعَالى جَدُّكَ، وَلَا إِلَه غَيْرُكَ" ٢، أَوْ غَيْرَهُ مِنْ اَلِاسْتِفْتَاحَاتِ اَلْوَارِدَةِ عَنْ اَلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم٣.
٨٠- ثُمَّ يَتَعَوَّذُ.
٨١- ويُبَسْمِل،
٨٢- وَيَقْرَأُ اَلْفَاتِحَةَ،
٨٣- وَيَقْرَأُ مَعَهَا فِي اَلرَّكْعَتَيْنِ اَلْأُولَيَيْنِ مِنْ اَلرُّبَاعِيَّةِ وَالثُّلَاثِيَّةِ
