And may Allah send blessings upon1 our master and Prophet1 Muhammad,2 and upon his family and Companions,2 and grant him abundant peace.
3It was set down by its writer, who stands in need of Allah and hopes that He will set right his religion and worldly life: Abd al-Rahmān ibn Nāsir ibn Sa‘dī. May Allah forgive him, his parents, and all Muslims. I copied it from the original, and the copying was completed on 3 Dhu al-Hijjah 1359 AH. Praise be to Allah, by whose grace righteous deeds are brought to completion.3

May Allah forgive him, his parents, and all Muslims.”
The book was copied in this form and numbered in 1409 AH. Its hadiths were traced to their sources in 1410 AH, and annotations from the shaykh’s other works were added in Dhu al-Qada 1419 AH. The two manuscripts and the printed edition were collated with our brother Mūsā ibn Yūsuf ibn Īsā over a series of sessions, the last of which took place on Tuesday morning, 11 Jumādā al-Ākhira 1420 AH.
وَصَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَى١ سَيِّدِنَا وَنَبِيّنَا١ مُحَمَّدٍ ٢ وَعَلَى آله وأصحابه٢ وسلم تسليماً كثيراً.
٣ عَلَّقَهُ كَاتِبُهُ اَلْفَقِيرُ إِلَى اَللَّهِ، اَلرَّاجِي مِنْهُ أَنْ يُصْلِحَ دِينَهُ وَدُنْيَاهُ: عَبْدُ اَلرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ نَاصِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِيٍّ، غَفَرَ اَللَّهُ لَهُ وَلِوَالِدَيْهِ وَلِجَمِيعِ اَلْمُسْلِمِينَ، نَقَلْتُهُ مِنَ اَلْأَصْلِ، وَتَمَّ اَلنَّقْلُ ٣/ الحجة/ ١٣٥٩، والحمد الله الذي بنعمته تتم الصالحات٣.

تم نسخ الكتاب على هذا النحو وترقيمه عام ١٤٠٩، وخرجت أحاديثه عام ١٤١٠، وتم التعليق عليه من كتب الشيخ الأخرى في ذي القعدة ١٤١٩، وتمت المقابلة بين النسختين والمطبوع مع الأخ موسى بن يوسف بن عيسى في مجالس آخرها ضحى يوم الثلاثاء ١٤٢٠/٦/١١ هـ.
