obeying his commands, avoiding his prohibitions, and believing that there can be no happiness or well-being in this world or the Hereafter except through faith in him and obedience to him, and that love for him must take precedence over love for oneself, one’s child1, and all people.
It also means believing that Allah supported him with miracles attesting to his prophethood, with the perfect knowledge and sublime character with which Allah endowed him, and with the guidance, mercy, truth2, and religious and worldly benefits encompassed by his religion.
His greatest sign is this magnificent Quran, with the truth it contains in its reports, commands, and prohibitions. Allah knows best.

وَامْتِثَالِ أَمْرِهِ، وَاجْتِنَابِ نَهْيِهِ، وَأَنَّهُ لَا سَعَادَةَ وَلَا صَلَاحَ فِي اَلدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا بِالْإِيمَانِ بِهِ وَطَاعَتِهِ، وَأَنَّهُ يَجِبُ تَقْدِيمُ مَحَبَّتِهِ عَلَى مَحَبَّةِ اَلنَّفْسِ وَالْوَلَدِ١ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ.
وَأَنَّ اَللَّهَ أَيَّدَهُ بِالْمُعْجِزَاتِ اَلدَّالَّةِ عَلَى رِسَالَتِهِ، وَبِمَا جَبَلَهُ اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ اَلْعُلُومِ اَلْكَامِلَةِ، وَالْأَخْلَاقِ اَلْعَالِيَةِ، وَبِمَا اِشْتَمَلَ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنُهُ مِنْ اَلْهُدَى وَالرَّحْمَةِ وَالْحَقِّ٢، وَالْمَصَالِحِ اَلدِّينِيَّةِ وَالدُّنْيَوِيَّةِ.
وَآيَتُهُ اَلْكُبْرَى: هَذَا اَلْقُرْآنُ اَلْعَظِيمُ، بِمَا فِيهِ مِنْ اَلْحَقِّ فِي الأخبار والأمر والنهي، والله أعلم.
