Chapter: Slaughter and Hunting
601—Animals that are otherwise lawful to eat are not permissible without ritual slaughter, except fish and locusts.
602—The following conditions are required for ritual slaughter:
1—The slaughterer must be a Muslim or one of the People of the Book.
2—It must be performed with a sharp instrument1.
(1) Other than a tooth or a nail.

بَابٌ اَلذَّكَاةُ وَالصَّيْدُ
٦٠١- اَلْحَيَوَانَاتُ اَلْمُبَاحَةُ لَا تُبَاحُ بِدُونِ اَلذَّكَاةِ إِلَّا اَلسَّمَكَ وَالْجَرَادَ.
٦٠٢- ويُشْتَرَطُ فِي اَلذَّكَاةِ:
١- أَنْ يَكُونَ اَلْمُذْكِّيَ مُسْلِمًا أَوْ كِتَابِيًّا.
٢- وأن يكون بمحدد١.
