Conditions and Rulings of Tawāf

292—The conditions for any tawāf are:
1—intention;
2—beginning1 the tawāf at the Black Stone.
It is recommended2 to touch and kiss it; if one is unable to do so, one should point toward it,
(1) MSS “B” and “T” read: “and that one begin.”
(2) MS “B” reads: “and it was prescribed for him.” MS “T” reads: “it is recommended for him.”

٢٩٢- وَشُرُوطُ اَلطَّوَافِ مُطْلَقًا:
١- اَلنِّيَّةُ،
٢- وَالِابْتِدَاءُ١ بِهِ مِنْ الْحَجَر،
وَيُسَنُّ٢ أَنْ يَسْتَلِمَهُ وَيُقَبِّلَهُ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يستطع أشار إليه،
١ في "ب، ط": "وأن يبدأ".
٢ في "ب": "وسن له". وفي "ط": "يسن له".
