and if I have erred, it is from myself and Satan. I ask Allah to accept my repentance and pardon me. I hope that anyone who finds any deficiency or fault in it will inform me and draw my attention to it; he shall have my profound gratitude and sincere prayers.
In conclusion, I give thanks to Allah, the Most High, the Almighty, who enabled me to undertake this work and assisted me in completing it. To Him belongs all praise, first and last, outwardly and inwardly.
I then extend my thanks to everyone who assisted me in bringing this book to publication. I mention in particular my brother Mūsā ibn Yūsuf ibn Īsā, who helped me collate the two manuscripts; my brother Muhammad Salāh Sālih; my brother Walīd al-Ghāmidī; and my own brother, Alī, who kindly offered important comments that were received with appreciation and careful attention. Nor do I forget the effort exerted by Umm Abd Allah in the service of this work. May Allah reward them all on my behalf with every good and grant them an abundant reward.
O Allah, make my work sincerely for Your sake, beneficial to Your servants, and for me a means of drawing near to You and a treasure stored for the Hereafter, O Ever-Living, O Sustainer of all, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor.
