(2) Manuscripts “B” and “T” read: “another.”
(3) The shaykh explained that the call “Congregational prayer!” is made only for the eclipse prayer, not for the two Eid prayers or the prayer for rain, since it is reported only for an eclipse. Moreover, no such call is needed for the two Eid prayers because their time is known, unlike an eclipse. *Al-Mukhtārāt al-Jaliyya*, p. 53.
(4) Manuscript “A” reads: “the opening takbīr.”
