The Sa‘y between Safa and Marwah

47 – He then retraces his steps to perform the sa‘y between Safa and Marwah. When he comes near Safa he recites Allah’s words: “Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah; so whoever makes pilgrimage to the House or performs ‘umrah, there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good—surely Allah is Appreciative, All-Knowing.” He then says, “We begin with that with which Allah began.”
