for if he deliberately declares as sound what is in fact unsound, he has consciously lied, and if he does so out of ignorance, he has erred. In the same way, whoever stirs up a dispute about a matter that yields no benefit, or recites a host of opinions in wording while they all really come down to one or two in meaning, has merely wasted time and swollen the discussion with what is not correct—he is like a man wrapped in two robes of falsehood. Allah alone grants success in reaching what is right.
