of Shaykh Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb, together with the writings of the scholars who came after him and carried forward his mission, so that he may see for himself how those rumors are belied. Allah the Exalted says, “O you who believe, if a wicked person brings you some news, verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance and then become regretful for what you have done” (Qur’an 49:6).
The works of Shaykh Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb and the books of the scholars of this call who followed him are, praise be to Allah, readily accessible. They are distributed on the widest scale through the General Presidency for Scholarly Research, Fatwas, Daʿwah, and Guidance, through its offices inside and outside the Kingdom, and every year during the Hajj season. These books do not promote any particular school or novel sect; rather, they summon people to act upon the Book of Allah, the Sunnah of His Messenger, and the creed of Ahl al-Sunnah wa-l-Jamāʿah, to abandon innovations and superstitions, and to emulate the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, his Companions, the predecessors of this ummah, and the favored early generations.
May Allah’s blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muḥammad, his family, and all his Companions.
