My reply to these issues is this: Glory be to You—this is a monstrous slander. Before me, they even slandered the Prophet ﷺ, claiming that he reviled Jesus son of Mary and reviled the righteous. Thus their hearts resemble one another in fabricating lies and falsehood. The Exalted has said, “It is only those who do not believe who invent lies.” 1 They also accused him ﷺ of saying that the angels, Jesus, and ʿUzayr are in the Fire, so Allah revealed concerning that, “Indeed, those for whom the best reward has preceded from Us—they will be kept far from it.” 2 End⦗3⦘.

5. They said: He forbids invoking blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ, and he claims, “If authority were mine, I would demolish the Prophet’s dome”; he disparages the righteous and forbids loving them.
   The Shaykh answered: This is a lie and a slander concocted against me by the devils who wish to consume people’s wealth unjustly.⦗4⦘

6. They said: He declares everyone an unbeliever except those who follow him, and therefore their marriages are invalid.
   The Shaykh replied: How astonishing! How could such an idea enter the mind of any rational person, and could a Muslim ever utter it? I declare before Allah my innocence of this statement, which issues only from someone whose intellect is deranged and perception lost. May Allah fight those who harbor such baseless motives.⦗5⦘

7. They said: He practices blanket takfīr and obligates migration to him for anyone able to manifest his religion.
