envy one another, do not hate one another, and, O servants of Allah, be brothers.”1.
Therefore, it is good for a Muslim to frequently make this blessed supplication at all times, especially on the Night of Decree, in which every matter of wisdom is ordained. Let the Muslim know that Allah—Exalted is His Majesty—is Ever-Pardoning and Generous, and He loves to pardon: “He is the One who accepts repentance from His servants, pardons evil deeds, and knows what you do.”2. He has always been, and will always remain, known for His pardon and characterized by forbearance and forgiveness. Everyone is utterly dependent on His pardon and in need of His forgiveness. No one can do without His pardon and forgiveness, just as no one can do without His mercy and generosity. We therefore ask Him, Glorious is He, to encompass us in His pardon, admit us into His mercy, employ us in obedience to Him, and guide us to Him along a straight path.
