Allah, to see the results of their deeds, the harvest of their lives, and the fruit of their time.
Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “The year is a tree: the months are its branches, the days its boughs, the hours its leaves, and one’s breaths its fruit. Whoever’s breaths are spent in obedience will have a tree that bears wholesome fruit, while whoever’s breaths are spent in disobedience will have a tree that bears bitter colocynth. The harvest will take place only on the Day of Return; then, at harvest time, the sweet fruit will be distinguished from the bitter.”1 End quote.
We ask Allah to set all our times aright, fill them with security and faith, safety and Islam, and grant us success in doing what He loves and is pleased with. He is our Lord; we have no lord besides Him.
