In any case, this is a magnificent and comprehensive supplication, encompassing the avenues of goodness and the foundations of happiness in this world and the Hereafter. The Muslim should therefore give it due attention in this prayer—the Witr prayer—with which he concludes the night prayer. There is no harm if, in addition to this, he supplicates for all the believers for whatever good he is able, seeks forgiveness for them, supplicates against their enemies, and invokes Allah’s blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah. Allah is the One who grants success.
