objective of the Quran and its ultimate purpose. Hence, Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyya, may Allah have mercy on him, says: “What is required of the Quran is to understand its meanings and act upon it. If this is not the aspiration of the one who memorizes it, he is not among the people of knowledge and religion.”1.
O Allah, grant us success in realizing this in a manner that earns Your pleasure, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor.

مقصود القرآن وغاية مطلوبه، ولذا يقول شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية ﵀: "والمطلوب من القرآن هو فهم معانيه والعمل به، فإنَّه إن لم تكن هذه همّة حافظه لم يكن من أهل العلم والدين"١.
