This is a great hadith, authentically established from the noble Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), encompassing immense benefits, noble aims, and blessed ends.

Al-Hāfiz Ibn Rajab (may Allah have mercy on him) devoted a concise treatise to explaining this hadith and clarifying its meanings. It is a beneficial treatise, and perhaps I shall consider some of the implications and profound meanings of this hadith, so that, by Allah’s permission, this may help us give it due attention and recite it regularly.
