Allah, Mighty and Majestic, commanded His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to follow this way and guided him to it, as He Most High says: “Say: Indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path—an upright religion, the way of Abraham, who inclined exclusively to Allah and was not one of the polytheists.” 1. He Most High also says, reminding His servants of this blessing: “Strive for Allah as He deserves. He has chosen you and placed no hardship upon you in religion—the way of your father Abraham.” 2.

When Allah’s servant enters the morning adhering to this blessed, upright, and tolerant faith, he has entered it amid immense goodness and abundant favor.

How beautiful and magnificent it is for a Muslim to begin his day with these blessed words! A day begun with words of such import, uttered from a sincere heart—what a noble day it is!
