powerful over all things,’ one hundred times in a day will receive a reward equivalent to freeing ten slaves; one hundred good deeds will be recorded for him, one hundred sins will be erased from him, and it will protect him from Satan throughout that day until evening. No one will bring anything better than what he has brought, except someone who does more than that. And whoever says, ‘Glory and praise be to Allah,’ one hundred times in a day will have his sins erased, even if they are like the foam of the sea.” 1.
This demonstrates the tremendous importance of the declaration of monotheism, “There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah.” It is the most sublime of all words and the finest thing ever uttered by the prophets. For its sake the heavens and the earth were established, and all creatures and beings were created. Its adherents are the people of happiness, success, and triumph in this world and the Hereafter. A declaration of such stature deserves the Muslim’s utmost care and attention. Allah alone grants success and guides to what is right.
