This work was originally a series of radio programs broadcast by the blessed Quran Radio of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the title “Daily and Nightly Devotions.”
It consists of sixty-five programs of equal length, each with its own title indicating its subject matter.
I must also record here my gratitude and appreciation to those in charge of this radio station for the attention and cooperation I received from them—something worthy of recognition and thanks. Whoever does not thank people does not thank Allah. We therefore ask Allah to reward them abundantly, bless their efforts, and grant them success in serving and spreading the religion of Allah throughout the world, by His grace and generosity. I also thank everyone who offered me any form of assistance with this section or the two preceding sections—whether through research and encouragement, correction and review, or offering an opinion or observation—as well as those who typeset and formatted it, provided references for the Quranic verses and hadiths cited in it, contributed toward its printing, or assisted in its distribution. I ask Allah to grant them all the greatest reward and recompense them abundantly.
I ask Him, Glorified is He, to accept this work and all my other deeds, to make it sincerely for His sake, in conformity with the sunnah of His Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—and beneficial to His servants, and to grant no one else any share in it. He is indeed All-Hearing, Ever Near, and Responsive. May Allah bless our Prophet and grant him peace, and likewise his family and Companions.
