It is also established in Sahīh Muslim, on the authority of Alī ibn Abī Tālib—may Allah be pleased with him—that the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—said, “May Allah curse anyone who curses his parents.”1.

Such conduct can only come from people of vile disposition and reprehensible character. We ask Allah for protection and well-being, and we ask Him—Glorified is He—to forgive us, our parents, and all Muslim men and women. He is indeed All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
