Thus, the righteous deeds of these three men became the means by which their distress was relieved, their anguish dispelled, their prayer answered, and their hope fulfilled. Because they had been mindful of their Lord in times of ease, their Lord—glorified is He—was mindful of them in their time of hardship: He sustained them with His aid, encompassed them with His protection, and watched over them with His care and solicitude. He alone grants success and aid; He has no partner.
