Fiqh al-Adiyah wa-al-AdhkarAbd al-Razzaq ibn Abd al-Muhsin al-Badr

Thus remembrance is a light for the heart, face, and limbs of the one who remembers Allah, and a light for him in this world, in the intermediate realm, and on the Day of Resurrection.

— Another benefit of remembrance is that it brings Allah’s blessing and the angels’ prayers upon the one who remembers Him. Whoever receives Allah’s blessing and the angels’ prayers has achieved complete success and attained the ultimate triumph. Allah Most High says: “O you who believe, remember Allah often, and glorify Him morning and evening. He is the One who bestows His blessings upon you—and His angels pray for you—so that He may bring you out of darkness into light. And He is ever merciful to the believers.” 1.
