Important notice:
There is an issue that must be pointed out. Some women take medication to prevent menstrual bleeding so that they can fast Ramadan or perform Hajj. If these tablets merely delay the flow for a certain period without stopping it altogether, there is no objection to their use. But if they bring menstruation to a permanent halt, that is impermissible unless the husband gives his consent, for this effectively cuts off procreation.

These are a few rulings on menstruation that we have only skimmed; a full treatment would require much more time. Anyone who finds any of this—or anything else—unclear should consult the scholars, and—Allah willing—he will find with them what removes his difficulty. With Allah lies all success.
