By contrast, the evil systems fashioned by human beings are as limited as humanity itself; they are riddled with caprice and contention. Allah the Exalted says, “Had the Truth followed their desires, the heavens, the earth, and all who dwell therein would surely have been corrupted” (Q 23:71). Woe—utter woe and ruin—to the minds that abandon the judgment of Allah and His Messenger and substitute it with man-made laws: “Do they seek the judgment of the Age of Ignorance? Who could be a better judge than Allah for a people who are certain in faith?” (Q 5:50).

We ask Allah to grant victory to His religion, to exalt His word, and to protect the Muslims from the schemes of their enemies; He is indeed All-Hearing, Ever-Responsive.
